Our First Look at Ollin Tlaloc

Ollin Tlaloc was born via C-Section since he was in the breech position and was not making progress turning around. Both mother and baby are doing great!
Ollin Tlaloc nacio por cesaria porque estaba en posicion de salir de nachas. La mama y el nino estan bien!

The Nahuatl (Aztec) word "Ollin" (pronounced Oh-Leen) means "Movement". Ollin is more than a word, it is a principle. Life is a condition of constant change and growth. Stagnation is death, movement is life. It is in this spirit that we give the name Ollin.

Tlaloc (pronounced tl-ah-lohc, where "tl" is like the second syllable in little) is the deity of rain and fertility. The name literally means "He who makes things sprout". He was usually pictured as a man wearing a net of clouds, a crown of heron feathers, foam sandles and carrying rattles to make thunder. He was a greatly feared god, for he brought the droughts, hurled the lightning and laid to waste the land with devastating hurricanes.

Ollin Tlaloc, our little Stormy Weather, destined to change our lives forever.
